
I am 13 and ill be 14 in july im scared the world is going to end, and its cuz of social media, tiktok said there was 9 years left on the “climate clock” and it really scared me i cant leave my room or laptop without being stuck with my thoughts and getting sad again idk what to do i just dont want to die or be alive when the world is ending and im scared my fear is just silly 🙁
I dont know what it means by give a title so idk how to and im sorry for that i might end it honestly i know i just send a story but im really scared the world will end and i feel the need to kill myself i just want to go to sleep and not wake up i dont want to die painfully or watch my loved ones die or freak out i cant do this depression and hallucianating im sorry if this is super jumled up or confusing i just dont know what to do i fell miserable and helpless im going to try to pray i hope i dont go through with it i just dont know what to do anymore

- Have you talked to your parents or a trusting adult about your fears? That would be a great place to start.
- Reach out to your school. Your guidance counselors they are there for you! You can even make an in-person appointment to talk directly with them face to face.
- Check in with your teachers. You may only see them during class, but they are a resource that can connect you to the help you may need. It’s one of the people you have (some sort of) contact with almost every day.

You mentioned in your story that you were going to try to pray. For a moment, since you wrote that, I’m going to assume that you have a belief in some kind of God. Prayer is often very calming and centering for people. It helps people remember there is someone else greater in control of the things happening in the world. If this is something you believe, then consider that this God is definitely more powerful than what is happening in the world. Perhaps you can try and put your faith in this God rather than the kings and politicians of this world. Would this idea seem helpful to you? If so, consider journaling about that.
