I had a really good life in my old town and i had a lot of activities to do but as I shifted to a new town 10 months ago and I missed my hometown. Though I got bullied in my hometown and not in the new town, I still miss that place and cry about it every night. My parents even became stricter after coming here and I get scolded for small reasons every day. In my hometown I used to have tennis classes to keep me busy but over here I just sit at home doing nothing.
Thank you for reaching out to us, let’s work on a solution together. It must feel very bad missing your hometown and have to start all over. First things first, lets give you some examples of things you could do in your new town.
- find new activities in your new school, like tennis and other hobbies you did in your hometown.
- Find “new” hobbies that you haven’t tried yet, play a new sport, join a club, hiking, and exploring your new home.
- There are many historic areas in your new town like, Masjid Quaba, Masjid al-haram, Uhud mountains, and even some amusement parks. These are activities that you could do with your parents to help bring you closer together.
- Also talk with your parents and let them know how you feel. Your parents could be stressed about the move as well.
