Seeking Help

I am 13 years old. I have mental health. I am austic. I am in 7th grade I have been in inpatient programe . they did not help me at all. I need more help then I thought then they helped me. I had to go to the hospital becase I hurt my mom I do not hate her at all I need help. I think [your program] might help me then they did. they have a lot of reacsoe because I looked it up.

  • When you received services from the last place, was there ANYTHING helpful there? TRY to think if there was ANYTHING that made you feel better? Were there any activities that you did or a person you interacted with that you noticed made a positive impact on you? Any time you’ve been through a crisis it’s important to think through the things that DID work so that you can tell your parents and other people what has been helpful to, as much as what has not worked. Write them down in a journal. These things will help you learn how to identify what’s causing your crises and how to reduce them – and eventually, eliminate them. When you get there find the services search and then find the service that is closest to where you live. There are phone numbers on the website.
